Open Access Policy

Journal of Science and Technology (JST) is a fully open-access journal. All content published in JST is freely available online to readers and researchers worldwide, immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or payment barriers.

JST adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access: users are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles, and to use them for any lawful purpose, provided the original authors and source are properly cited.

All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright of their work; no copyright transfer to the journal or publisher is required. Full details are available on the journal's Copyright Policy and Licensing Policy pages.

JST does not embargo access to published content. Articles are made available in full, in their final published form, at the time of publication.

For details on how article processing is funded, please see the journal's Article Processing Charges and APC Waiver Policy pages.
